A Business operates within a dynamic environment (Both internally and externally) and issues can crop up which are not so easy to handle. Lot of things are intermingled in a business set up, both internal as well as external forces play their part in making business issues more and more unique and complex. As top management or owners of a business we may not even be equipped to handle these issues ourselves and find ourselves amidst a problem which seems to have no solution. Sometimes stakes are so high that we are afraid to implement solutions on hand thinking about their financial effects if things go wrong. Internal staff is usually assigned a particular role and their main responsibility is due see to that their daily duties are performed diligently. When there comes a problem which is beyond their scope of routine work they may prove to be incompetent in solving them. As a good owner or manager should not also push them solving something which they are not confident about because if something goes wrong the outcome would be anything but pleasing. First being the process of employing is something so time consuming the purpose of his/her employment may no longer exist till such an employee is employed. Second even if your were very efficient in employing right kind of person in nick of time what that person would do when current problem is solved. Such persons are experts in specific domains and no longer be required after they resolve the problem on hands. And suppose after few days a new problem crops up in a different domain than again you would have to look for a person who can solve this new problem. So employing someone is no solution to handle a problem.

As the problems come and go so should be the people who solve them. The better and effective way to have reliable and qualified personnel handle a specific business problem is by hiring a business consultant.
